Reuven Givati has a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Planetary Sciences, both degrees from Tel Aviv University, and a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of California at Davis. With this expertise, Reuven came to the academic study of the Hebrew Bible, an old love of his, being a champion of the TANAKH competition at his youth. Reuven is mostly interested in the knowledge of meteorology in the Hebrew Bible, and in 2019 he recieved an MA degree in Biblical studies with an MA thesis on the knowledge of meteorology among the authors of Biblical literature
