COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT RESTRICTIONS
These terms hereunder apply to the use of the Dictionary of Nature Imagery of the Bible Project (the “Website“) and the content contained in it thereof. The term “Content” includes, but is not limited to, the databases, graphic design, information of every kind and type, including articles, reviews, data, information, analyses, assessments, whether in texts, pictures, video clips, software, computer database, and/or in audio form, which will be available for the use of the Website’s users, and any other item relating to the operation of the Website.
The copyrights and intellectual property rights to the Website and Content contained in the Website, as well as trade-names and trademarks, are the property of Tel Aviv University (“TAU”) and/or Professor Dalit Rom-Shiloni of the Department of Biblical Studies at TAU and/or of third parties from whom TAU acquired a usage license as required by law, unless otherwise expressly indicated. If you believe that the Content is in any way infringing copyrights owned by you, please notify us as soon as possible.
Use of the Content is limited to personal use, academic use, and noncommercial use only. You may not modify the Content for personal use, academic use, and noncommercial use without prior express written permission. Any such personal use, academic use and noncommercial use must include credit to the author of the Content and to the Website. You are prohibited from making any commercial use thereof, or of any portion thereof; you are prohibited from using or enabling others to use the Website and the Content in any other manner, whether commercially or otherwise, in violation of these Terms of Use, including:
altering, publishing, broadcasting, transferring, selling, disseminating or making any commercial use of the Content and/or any portion thereof; ? disseminating, copying, reproducing, publicly displaying or delivering to any third party the Content and/or any portion thereof; ? compiling an anthology, collection or database that shall contain Content using a computer application or any other means; ? presenting Content in any manner whatsoever, which alters its design or eliminates and/or adds any content to it.
Furthermore, you hereby undertake that, if you shall create a link referring to the Content, which is not a link to the Website’s home page, using a “deep link” and/or in any other way, such link shall be accompanied with reference to the Website’s home page. TAU may order you to remove any link, including any such “deep link”, at its sole discretion. In such instance, the link that TAU demanded be removed shall be immediately removed, and you shall not have any allegation, demand or claim against TAU and/or against the Website in this regard.
You are hereby prohibited from creating a link from the Website or to the Website to any other website containing offensive content; ? unlawfully hacking into material and/or computer files and/or injecting a computer virus into other computers and/or using or disrupting other computers in violation of the Computers Law, 5755– 1995; publishing any offensive content and/or content which might, in TAU’s opinion, harm the reputation and good name of TAU, its employees and/or any party acting on its behalf and/or of third parties and/or infringing upon the copyrights of TAU, its employees and/or any party acting on its behalf and/or of third parties and/or infringing upon any other right of TAU, its employees and/or any party acting on its behalf and/or of third parties.
